#Pigs perpetuate systemic issues. Punishment fails to prevent #crime which largely criminalizes #poverty. Policing evolved from slave patrols, maintaining control thru laws that enable modern slavery. Instead of punishment, society could reduce crime by meeting peoples needs & addressing inequality.
