It's clear that Donald Trump seeks to shift the U.S. toward fascism, and in fact is doing so in real-time in front of our eyes. Earlier this week, Jay Kuo analyzed Trump's proposed fascist policies through the lens of Professor Ruth Ben-Ghiat's expert warnings of where we are headed.

Prof. Ben-Ghiat has been laying out brutal truths on why Trump is a fascist

I reread Paxton's Anatomy of Fascism on a flight last week, which is worth a close look in the current moment for how it describes fascist movements as succeeding if and only if they attain the tacit support of conservative elites
"Cautious but forthright, he told me that he doesn’t believe using the word is politically helpful in any way, but he confirmed the diagnosis. 'It’s bubbling up from below in very worrisome ways, and that’s very much like the original fascisms,' Paxton said. 'It’s the real thing. It really is.'"
Is It Fascism? A Leading Historian Changes His Mind.
Robert Paxton thought the label was overused. But now he’s alarmed by what he sees in global politics — including Trumpism.

Now that Judge Aileen Cannon is reportedly being considered as a potential attorney general in a second Trump administration, it's even clearer that she can never be impartial in the classified documents case.

She must be removed.
