Today marks seven years since John McCain’s passing, a loss not only for Arizona but for our nation. John defined service, always put country over party, and was exactly the kind of leader we need more of in Washington these days. He is missed.

At least for me, any candidate in the Dem primary who doesn’t pledge to immediately return the WH and the grounds to the way it was before Trump turned it into Mar-a-Lago on the Potomac is automatically disqualified. The massive ballroom, garish gold plated foil, all of it gone.

I was so excited about the SNL 50th anniversary special. It wasn’t funny, I lasted 30 minutes. Even Steve Martin’s intro flopped. Maybe it got better but I was long gone.
