Today in 1975 episode 2300 of Crossroads was broadcast, Granada and Thames had special introductions before 2299 to bring them into 1975 - both jumping six months of episodes so that on April 3rd the whole UK could see the wedding of Meg and Hugh.

Meg has quit and #Crossroads Motel has gone up in smoke.
Even more eventful than I had braced myself for. Loads of surprises (not just the ones expected). People must have choked on their tea on Bonfire Night 1981.

Redecorating my sitting room, and it seems the original wall colour (built in the 60s) is Chalet Door Orange. I can't even imagine what the furniture must have been like, but I suspect Vera Downend would have thought it classy.
