And the rest of the elite wrapped up in this?

I'm ashamed we have to consider these ethical nightmares running society our "elite".

Shitty people all.

Did the money make them shittier than they were previously, or do shitty people go after money and power?

Peace Prize!
President Trump says he might take his boat strikes to the “land corridor” next. “It’s OK with me,” Trump said. “Whatever we have to do to stop drugs. Mexico is, look, I looked at Mexico City over the weekend."

Will he follow through, or is this just evidence of cognitive decline? trib.al/GXANQr8

79-year-old Paul Bojerski was born to Polish parents in a WWII German refugee camp. His family legally emigrated to the U.S. when he was 5.

He’s been taken by ICE in Florida.

Paul Bojerski never gained official residency, but he checked in regularly with ICE for years. Then in July, at age 79, he was detained and sent to Alligator Alcatraz.

i'd say it did. the public put a group of thieves, vandals and extremists in office last november and they promptly went about destroying everything that might work to limit their ability to loot, steal and inflicting pain on the people they hate
This whole NYT account about the weaponization of DOJ is beyond disturbing. Kinda feels like the US government fell in January.

We can hope Trump's authoritarian clown show will significantly reduce world appetite for US foreign military sales.

This is maybe one of the only good developments we see one Trump's "Trashing of America for personal gain" initiative.

"Legal experts point out that this effectively hands Trump the authority to unilaterally execute civilians who are not waging war against the United States in any recognizable sense."

Read that again, I had to.
Trump's illegal murders in the Caribbean just got worse. An internal DOJ memo on the bombings says the victims are waging war on the US, but per NYT, it extensively cites the WH's *own claims* to this effect as evidence!

It gets even darker than that. 1/

Here we have to learn to group the news media with the research universities, vax confusion created by RFK, Jr., the Bureau of Labor Statistics mess, etc.
