I started enjoying drawing way more once I reminded myself it’s just a hobby and stopped comparing myself to others, especially the professionals. I’m not aiming to go pro or anything like that; I just love doing it. It helps me unwind and get my thoughts out. It’s like therapy in a way.

I will never understand people who treat being blocked like it’s a tragedy. Many people have blocked me just for being a furry and that’s fine because I wouldn’t want to interact with them either!

“Blocking” is not bullying. It is not a bad thing. Where did this come from? Blocking someone doesn’t prevent them from being seen by others, it’s moderation of your own feed and who you interact with. For fuck’s sake you aren’t entitled to space on someone’s feed just because you want more reach.

AI ‘artists’ tend to focus solely on numbers and engagement, so responding to them, even with criticism, doesn’t make much of a difference. Instead, why not redirect that energy toward supporting small artists? Positive interactions with them have a much more meaningful and lasting impact!

The idea that ‘you can be friends with people who have different opinions’ only applies to small things, like favorite characters or hobbies. I will never compromise who I am or ‘respectfully disagree’ to accommodate someone who believes queer people don’t deserve rights.

Just got back from my first workout at the gym! It wasn’t easy to get started, but I’m proud of myself for pushing through. It’s a small step, but progress is progress, and that’s what matters. Here’s to more growth from here!
