My daughter and I kind of pulled a John and Yoko today. We’re just now getting out of bed. Figured there wasn’t much worth getting out of bed for today.

There are some Christmas songs that I attempt to avoid every season because I absolutely detest them or they just get played too damn much. One of the latter has invaded my brain as an ear worm. It’s a happy song, so I don’t really mind, but I have to wonder… HOW THE HELL DID IT GET IN THERE?!

The pumpkin pie is dead. Long live the pumpkin pie (like, fr, 'cuz Mom's gonna pick up another soon).

The pecan is still available, but it is particularly scrumptious and may not last until Monday.

Thank God we still have Buttermilk Pie!

Oops, we did it again!

We’ve been catching rats like crazy this week, but we haven’t had time to torture them by Shih Tzu… until today. We caught a BIG one! (cont.)

I just blocked an account here that claimed to be Elon Musk. I doubt it really was, but I don’t care. I don’t want anyone even pretending to be Elon Musk following me.

I’m down for this. While we’re at it, let’s outlaw negative campaigning against other candidates. Most of it is lies anyway.

I am so going to hell… And my kids are going with me! For context, we have a Shih Tzu Maltese 🐶 and, for the first time in seven years of living in this house… a 🐀 problem. Shih Tzu’s were bred to keep the Chinese imperial palace clear of rats.

Their children’s lives were priceless. The sacrifice they made may help ensure that extremists like Jones can’t whip up more trigger happy nuts. As a parent, that’s a favor I could never repay. Thank you, Sandy Hook Families and The Onion!!!
