There’s no perfect camera. Chasing the latest gear won’t bring fulfillment—going out and enjoying the moment will. I love simple pocket macro photography with the Tough TG-7. Sure, my iPhone 15 can do the same, but holding a camera makes the experience more present and inspiring.

While the ZS99 will never match a large wildlife lens, it’s fun to sit by the window and capture photos of the birds.

I’ve been inspired by yokai, the mythical creatures of Japanese folklore, creating with just ink and pens, imagining joyful beings.

It’s a rainy day here on the East Coast—perfect for testing out my Petite Camera, the OM Tough TG-7. I got it for bad weather macro shots, and it does a pretty good job. Lovely quote.

I’ve always liked GoPros. While the market is now saturated with action cameras, the GoPro Hero 13 with a macro lens stands out. You really don’t need a large camera when something this compact can capture the details you love.

Walking meditation works best for me. I love A Walk in the Wood by Dr. Joseph Parent and Nancy Parent. I also enjoy capturing moments through photography during my walks—it helps me stay present.

On a recent visit home to Switzerland, I spotted this little car—proof that standing out is far more fun than fitting in!

Mom, I don’t care about politics or social media. I just want walks, Greenies, food, naps, and to see my best friend Penny. Why can’t everyone be like me?

I’ve missed seeing everyone’s amazing photography on Instagram, though I’m rarely on there anymore. Being here has been a refreshing break from reels and endless ads—it’s been great enjoying everyone’s photos again!

Adding some vintage cameras to your shelf brings timeless nostalgia. Thinking of the folks who used them and honoring the art of photography. 📷✨

It's really chilly here on the east coast, but maybe that's just how I'm feeling right now.
