We learned today that in just over a week, Elon Musk’s AI chatbot 'Grok' generated and shared at least 1.8 million sexualized images of women - all without their consent. This is abhorrent. We need the legislature to take action this session to bring AI accountability to New Mexico.

Richard Gallagher was arrested today by #NMDOJ's Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force special agents. He’s accused of using AI apps to convert clothed photos of children into nude photos depicting sexual situations, and is charged with 12 felony counts of Sexual Exploitation of Children.

#NMAG Torrez, along with state law enforcement partners, announced the first Crime Gun Intelligence Center housed within an attorney general’s office in the country. The #NMDOJ Crime Gun Intelligence Center uses forensic evidence to find connections between firearms used in crimes across the state.
