My first time seeing the complete (unrealized) plan for IM Pei's Crown Heights superblocks from 1969.
I love how it doesn't just add park space, but threads new off-street connections.

I can think of a few streets in fair Flatbush that could use this treatment…
#Eerlijke #rechtvaardige straten leveren steden en dorpen zoveel moois!🥰 Ruimte om te spelen⚽️, ontmoeten🙋🏻♀️, voor groen🌳 en biodiversiteit🐦⬛. Achtjarigen en ouder kunnen weer zelfstandig naar school fietsen. Senioren+ die veilig zelf naar de bakker gaan. Het maakt dorpen en steden zoveel sterker!
