What a stupid question…the reason he spoke Spanish in a small part of it was clear in the speech…he said it was for his grandparents!

Sometimes lunch is fresh frijoles de la olla w rice and tomatoes. I needed cilantro but it turned to mulch in the fridge.

The One by John Marrs was definitely a page turner. Every chapter made me want more, that I read it really fast. There we parts that I felt they made some of the characters a little bit vapid but it could also be this world and how the discovery changed them, I guess.

I went to The Alamo's Movie Party of Steel Magnolias with a new friend yesterday. It's a Dolly Weekend, since she turns 80 on Monday. I actually went with my mom, sisters and aunt to see this movie in '89 at the Eagle Rock Plaza. I've loved this movie since then. I used to act out a scene as a kid.

28 Years Later: The Bone Temple was really good. I was fascinated throughout, but lord, was this freaking violent. I know, I'm a sensitive horror fan. 😅

I got a Boox Go Color 7. I've been downloading my ginormous library of digital comics since Monday and I'm not done. I talk in meetings and keep clicking on books to get in line to get in my device.
I haven't messed with the settings enough yet for a full verdict.

Comic-Con should be a celebration of illustrators, comic artists, writers and so on. Elevating the actual craftsmen and women who make the works that fans love!
Instead it opens the door to slop that can only exist due to the stolen work of those same creatives, to then displace creatives. Gross!

My day didn't go as planned. I ended it by watching Rosemead (2025), starring Lucy Liu. To say she ripped my fucking heart ❤️ out is an understatement. I kept crying on the way home. The cars driving by probably thought I was in distress. 😭

So why is the algorithm seriously, seriously pushing 3D printing at me? Did they not know the challenge I have with assembling things? IKEA is a scary place for some of us.
