I am excited about the upcoming Switch 2 announcement. The Switch has been serving as my main console for years because of portability, convenient, and extensive library of games.

All I have been playing on Nintendo Switch Sports is Golf.
I’m addicted and online multiplayer works so well.

I have played lots of great games on Switch, Xbox and PS this year through limited time IRL and I think PS wins the year for me. Astro Bot top, but also Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, Like a Dragon Infinite Wealth and returning to classics. It’s been a good year for games.

We lost the ability to make classic Christmas movies post Elf. You get some outliers like The Holdovers but the genre is basically all Amazon tier streaming slop at this point.

Astro Bot absolutely deserved Game of the Year. It is one of my favourite all-time platformers and perhaps favourite PS5 game.

My Xbox year in review. FFXIV top game again (on PS5 last year). I clocked more hours on my Switch and PS5 this year though.

Just completed Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. It only took me 9 months due to it being up to its socks in content and other great games such as Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth. At one point I felt burnt out from Rebirth and JRPGs in general.
Great game and story. Looking forward to Part 3.

Just completed Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. It only took me 9 months due to it being up to its socks in content and other great games such as Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth. At one point I felt burnt out from Rebirth and JRPGs in general.
