Nintendo showed off the Switch 2 dock on the Nintendo Today app. Not much different from the Switch 1. Still 2 USB ports. You will be able to plug in the GameCube Adapter into it and use GC Controllers for Nintendo GameCube - Nintendo Classics(NSO+Expansion Pack)

That switch 2 themes rumor is utter nonsense. The twitter account behind it has never leaked anything and there’s no reason to think that’s changed.
