In Windows 11 Version 24H2 aka Windows 11 2024 Update, the ExplorerPatcher setup file requires to be renamed else it’ll fail to open because Windows 11 24H2 blocks it.
Unfortunately, the latest releases of ExplorerPatcher no longer allow enabling the taskbar from Windows 10. 😔

Windows has an undocumented “Emergency Shutdown” feature. Introduced in Windows NT 3.1 (1993), to access it, a user must 1st press Ctrl+Alt+Delete. Then, if the Shut Down option is chosen while holding Ctrl, a dialog box will allow the user to confirm an immediate shut down. 🚨‼️

Windows Media Player in Windows 2000 is NOT affected by the Year 2038 problem! 🥳

No wonder why Windows 2000 is quite well known for being the most reliable Windows OS ever released. 😄

Windows Classic refers to the Windows UI theme that debuted in Windows 95 (1995). It was the default Windows theme until Windows XP (2001), where it was replaced as the default look & feel by the new Luna visual style. Classic was removed as a theme option in Windows 8 (2012). 👨🏻‍🎨

Fast Start was a feature tested in Windows Codename Neptune, an unreleased Windows version from the late 1990s. It sped up boot times by saving an initial system snapshot that was restored on each boot. A similar feature eventually debuted over a decade later in Windows 8 (2012).

Microsoft Reversi debuted in Windows 1 (1985). It featured an AI opponent & was included through Windows 3 (1990). It was replaced in Windows 3.1 (1992) by Microsoft Solitaire (CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?). An online co-op version of the game appeared in Windows ME (2000) & XP (2001). 🔵

Windows Vista (2006) introduced the Start Orb: a new, orb-shaped, textless iteration of the Start button. Simply displaying the Windows logo, it exceeded the height of the Taskbar (a feature unique to Vista, as this changed with Windows 7’s (2009) debut of the taller “Superbar”).
