Exploring Wissahickon Valley Park in Philadelphia felt like exploring Rock Creek Park in D.C.: vast wilderness along a creek in the city limits with historical landmarks. Even found a unique geocache: one where you have to identify smells to unlock the logbook.
A stone bridge over a creek on the left and a bunch of small rocks on the right. Looking down at a creek from a bridge. There are a few ducks swimming. On both sides of the creek are trees without leaves. A white statue at the top of a cliff. The base of the statue says "Toleration". A tree is in the foreground on the left. The Toleration Statue is atop of Mom Rinker’s Rock in Fairmount Park. A plastic ammo box-style container on the ground next to a large tree stump. It's a geocache, a hidden box intended for a person to find. On the interior of the box cover, it says "SMELL YA LATER! GCAFCQW" indicating the name and code for the geocache. The main part of the box is sealed with a cover that has two combination locks and three containers numbered 1, 2, and 3. The sealed box says "PLEASE SEAL FIRMLY" and "COMBINATION: LEMON PEPPERMINT LAVENDER".
