Trinity College chapel, pastel. I'd forgotten about this one. Spotted when looking through photos of paintings on an SD card. I think this one is oil pastel but I'll have to find the original to be sure.

Newsom: The New Testament and Old Testament have one dominant thing in common—Matthew, Isaiah, Luke, Proverbs, go down the list—it’s about food, about serving those who are hungry. It’s not a suggestion; it’s core and essential to what it means to align with God’s will.

In a stunningly anti-veteran move, the Trump admin tried to use the government shutdown as an excuse to halt nearly all court rulings on veterans' disability benefits. A 9-0 court—led by a Trump appointee—rejected their "extreme request," calling it unconscionable.

There’s plenty of disinformation trying to blame the nascent offshore wind industry for whale deaths without evidence. Not only is that misleading, it also takes the focus away from solutions that might actually address the leading causes of death — vessel strikes and entanglement with fishing gear.
Whales are dying, but it’s not because of wind farms
Investigating a whale beaching is grueling work, and scientists see the same culprit again and again.

This is the tribute Gabbard must offer to keep her job after contradicting Trump on Iran’s nuclear progress. The DNI effectively said there was no evidence to support Trump’s rationale for bombing Iran - and he was pissed.

Her transgression required a show of unhinged loyalty. And here we are.
BARTIROMO: Do you expect indictments and prosecutions?

GABBARD: In my view, yes, we have evidence to be able to move forward to prosecute and indict those responsible

BARTIROMO: I want to put a spotlight on those responsible -- Barack Obama, John Brennan, James Clapper ...

I'm not gonna lie, y'all: even nearly a decade into this, it still feels surreal that a sitting POTUS can do one long, bizarre stream-of-consciousness ramble about whatever silly shit happens to pop into his head on national television, and political media still shrug their shoulders + write it up.

CEO pay is up 1,085% since 1978, while typical worker pay is up just 24%.

Why do we always hear "we can't afford to pay our workers more" but never "we can't afford to pay our CEO more"?
