Here’s an article @marisakabas.bsky.social wrote on Kelvin while we were fighting his deportation. We failed and he’s been in CECOT ever since. We’ve heard nothing from him. If anyone knows of any organization or individuals that can help, please let me know. I’ve even written the Pope.
NEW — Kelvin Membreño will be deported to El Salvador by ICE tomorrow. He’s the birth father of three US citizen daughters and has become an important part of their lives.

With CECOT being in the news, I want to repost this article my wife wrote about our adopted kids' birth father. He finished a prison sentence and was deported to El Salvador and landed in CECOT. If anyone can help with this, please contact me. We're feeling pretty helpless.

It’s been my lifelong dream to be a full-time comic artist, but I probably make a few bucks an hour from it. I’m miles from even getting minimum wage. So I do it when I can, a slow, but steady trickle. I wish things were different.

In a post completely free of self-pity, Cathy Malkasian says she’s leaving comics because of poor sales. This is something I can certainly relate to. In Cathy’s case, it kills me that someone this good can’t find an audience. I wish the world was a better place.
