Modern version of a renaissance painting
Just like they did on Saturday against Nottingham Forest, Liverpool have conceded three at home.

PSV add to their lead through Couhaib Driouech, who took full advantage of Ibrahima Konate's failure to control the ball.

NINE STRAIGHT WINS.

The New England Patriots have their longest win-streak since 2015.

Watching Inter Milan v AC Milan and wondering why all the players, the ref and some in the crowd have red marks on their face. Turns out it's a campaign to raise awareness of violence against women and has been running 9 years.

Arsenal’s magic and dominance aside, will be interesting to see if the media pick up on what was a cowardly approach from Spurs from the first minute.

Flat, terrified on the ball and weak from the front.

🚨 Bournemouth may be powerless to prevent Antoine Semenyo sale in January. Contract includes £65m release clause; available to all clubs but must be activated by set date so #AFCB get time to replace. Applies again in summer at lower price 🚨 @theathleticfc.bsky.social

The clause must be activated by a specific date, giving Bournemouth time to replace their best player, and is available to any team.

2004, Fabrizio!
Even after drawing Sunderland, Arsenal are still in the driver's seat to win their first EPL trophy since 2003, according to Polymarket. 🏆 Who's their biggest threat to stop them?

Trossard and Saka both fantastic tonight. Given their fullbacks a real tough game and came up with big goals.

Trossard is having such a good campaign, really hoping he can stay injury free and keep consistent.

Zubimendi touched the ball in the foul for the free kick. So if it was in the box, it wouldn’t be a penalty 😉

Nice goal from Sunderland though.

My vote goes to Nicolas Jover.

Frank is unleashing his inner Chris Wilder with the overlapping centre half and I’m here for it
Proper 'hold my beer' moment from Micky van de Ven 🤣

What a run! #UCL

Really unimpressed with Madrid tonight. Liverpool have looked impressive for sure, but Madrid’s glaring hole in the squad is a midfielder capable of both establishing control and offering some incisiveness.

Without Courtois this could’ve been 3-0/4-0.

This trend of incessant booing and whistling when nothing is happening during play is so boring and annoying.

Only seems to happen in European competitions, but makes the game hard to watch with sound when you’re feeling under the weather, lol

Great result. Ugly game, Prague clearly sent out to try and wind Arsenal up. Arsenal dealt with it well and the extra quality made the difference.

Special moments for Dowman & Harriman-Annous and yet another clean sheet. 8 in a row now, first time Arsenal have done that for 122 years. Incredible.

Rice quietly becoming one of the best crossers of a football in the world. That’s a beautiful ball into the box, right on top of the goalkeeper and great strength from Merino.

Newcastle United's troubles on the road continue as they are beaten away at struggling West Ham United.

Goals from Lucas Paqueta and Tomas Soucek either side of a Sven Botman own goal extend Newcastle’s winless run away from home in the Premier League to eight games.

I really don’t understand this “rule” regarding a touch on the ball exempting doing whatever you want to the attacker in the box.

And is missing that minuscule touch in real time really a clear and obvious error? The officiating feels so incredibly unfair across the board this year.

FBref has him at ~2.7 shots p90, which makes this really interesting.

If we can keep our production steady and consistent, I think we could see his output explode. That being said, we need him over 3.0 p90, that’s where most of the elite centre forwards in Europe are sitting.
Viktor Gyökeres has converted 20% of his shots into goals in the Premier League this season. No Arsenal player with more than 10 shots last season managed a better conversion rate than the Swede's rate this season.

Really feel for Wolves fans this season, but this one felt inevitable.

Not sure where they turn from here. Do they continue to gamble with ideas and philosophies or do they just try and stay up at all costs?
🚨🐺 BREAKING: Wolves sack Vitor Pereira. Decision made as head coach leaves Wolves job with immediate effect, as @JacobsBen @JPercyTelegraph report.

While Liverpool look ten times better while playing with two actual fullbacks and a balanced attack, Villa have been really poor.

Emery is still obsessed with this building up from the back, even when the personnel are clearly struggling against a high press. Something has to give here…

Should be a card for Szoboszlai. Knows he’s not winning the ball so resorts to a petulant shove in the back.

Worst referee in the league living up to his standard tonight, both sides incredibly lucky that nobody has got seriously hurt with some of these silly challenges.
