I just went online to buy replacement filters for my cat’s water fountain, and the checkout page had a TIP OPTION. So annoyed by this I was half tempted to cancel my order and MacGuyver something out of coffee filters and charcoal.

So I worked 7-1, worked out, came home, took out the garbage and recycling, had a shower … if I have no reason to leave my home again today, 4:45 is not too early to be in my PJ’s, right?

So my Brazilian boyfriend is entertaining the possibility of doing a post-doc in Boston, and I am experiencing no small amount of anxiety about the jeopardy he would be in by just being a Latino man in Trump’s America.

I don’t have extended health benefits and I won’t qualify for the expanded Canadian Dental Care Plan. Even though I will continue to pay out of pocket for 100% of my dental costs, I think it’s FANTASTIC that my tax dollars will go to cover the dental care of so many others people.

Have finally decided to put together an emergency kit. Adding a power station because if we lose power I’ll need to charge my phone and make coffee. Can’t find a single Canadian 🍁 manufacturer, so have ordered from a Chinese company. Would rather be in the dark and uncaffeinated than buy American

So I’ve managed to find a Canadian-made antiperspirant; now trying to locate a portable power station for my emergency kit in case the next earthquake knocks out power. Can’t find any Canadian brand, and only one manufacturer that isn’t American.
