I was only thinking yesterday that we all say what we don't want but how often do we actually have a coherent plan for what we DO want. Here it is!
Letters are going out to Syrians with paused applications for ILTR. Doesn't seem to be about employment/volunterring, only whether or not safe to go back. Letters written in typically complex English - even I as (native speaker) having to keep re-reading paras

Last month Iran deported 750,000 (!) Afghans & said it will deport 4 million remaining undocumented Afghans (many born in Iran and never even been to Afghanistan). The UN can only assist 10% of returnees. Dumped into poverty and female hopelessness. Observer:
