As a former federal prosecutor, I know the care that is supposed to go into charging decisions, and this is plainly a political prosecution - an attempt by the Trump Administration to not only intimidate protesters but turn them into propaganda.
NEW: The indictment was handed down on Oct. 23 and unsealed yesterday, according to court documents (USA v. Rabbitt 1:25-cr-00693)

As a former federal prosecutor, I know the care that is supposed to go into charging decisions, and this is plainly a political prosecution - an attempt by the Trump Administration to not only intimidate protesters but turn them into propaganda.
The way to defeat Trump is not by shouting the loudest. It’s by winning the votes of the majority of Americans who are tired of this chaos and waiting for an alternative.

ICE just blatantly violated the law and arrested sitting Chicago Alderperson Jessie Fuentes while seeking to illegally arrest a patient in a hospital. Fuck these fascists.
