Husband, father, architect interested in active transport/GBI/place making, runner, cyclist, ex-rower, photographer. Woke and proud of it.
Never tried purposeful double exposures, but accidentally ran a film twice through my Leica IIIa. Here we have St Paul’s Cathedral inside Stoke-on-Trent railway station!

Corbridge church, Northumberland. There was a wedding on so I couldn’t get inside a gorgeous building that dates back 1300 years!

Southbank just before Christmas. love this place, going to concerts and theatre for 45 years and photographing it as long. It inspired me to become an architect. Good changes at river level, but most external public spaces feel quite dismal…

Gateway, Mickleden. Rossett Pike in the background. Took my “new” Nikkor QC 135 2.8 on a walk in Langdale. Very pleased with it, and interesting to use a prime of that length.

Always a treat to be early for my train and have some time to wander around the London stations. Liked the vintage feel of this shot of St Pancras.

The harbour, Alesund Norway beside the fishing museum. I was particularly taken with the simple lines of the small skiff and how it sat on the water.

An experiment in using camera movements. Tried to get my focal plane running along the two central stones. Not quite worked but fun! Glen Gorm Standing stones Mull.

Because the Bluesky app doesn’t rotate, on iOS at least. I’m wondering if I should load up my landscape orientation photos twice with one version turned 90 degrees. 🤔

This is last night’s image.

Better?

Last month, NFU president Tom Bradshaw revealed it was their lobbying that blocked Labour’s right to roam plans. This denies millions access to nature while empowering antisocial landowners.

NFU, we’re calling you out—let’s debate access reform openly.

It’s time for change.
