As a music director I’ve got to plan worship services months in advance for things like Easter or Good Friday because we have to introduce the new songs for our congregation to actually know what we’re doing. Those special times of worship can be very important to them, distractions are not.

I honestly believe our most powerful position in a toxic time that feeds on cynicism, apathy,& despair is to genuinely care and act for a better world.
