The basic promise should be that young people will not fall behind on the three foundations of a decent start in life: housing they can afford, education or training that opens doors, and the chance to build real relationships, community and belonging.

Disappointing lack of support, but perhaps with so many competing or overlapping petitions not surprising. Could some umbrella body akin to Wildlife and Countryside Link coordinate this work, so that all this passion & effort is not wasted?

This is because he is by far the most effective Secretary of State in the government.
The Ed Miliband hate-fest in the UK press continued last year.

Predominantly right-wing newspapers published an incredible 112 editorials attacking the energy secretary.

That's two editorials a week, and more than twice as many as 2024, calling him a "crazed" "zealot" suffering with “eco insanity”

I don’t mean to appear too critical, but with a membership of over 1 million, a wildlife crisis and 365 days in a year isn’t 100,000 a small, nay tiny, achievement?

This is not mobilisation. How many website sales did RSPB have? You expect 200,000 to take part on BGBW on one weekend…
Thank you to everyone who gave nature a voice in 2025 📣

More than 100,000 actions, from signing petitions to meeting your representatives, helped us fight for wildlife across the UK!
