Got four free goose from a local gamekeeper still in the feather. Never plucked a bird before but I figure if I’m willing to eat meat, then I should be willing to deal with it like that as well. I think I did a decent job. My fella was proud of me not being squeamish about it

I left Twitter/X the day Elon took it over. As soon as I saw it on the news & his first act was mass firings. I never looked back. Have dipped into threads, but won’t lie, I missed the format of Twitter. I’m glad #Bluesky is now filling that obvious gap.

Today I paid a visit to the National Railway Museum in York before heading home. Was interesting, and I’m never not amazed at just how large trains are, especially when you remember on a train platform you never really see the bottom half. Would recommend a visit

Just some random pictures of my derpy dog Dottie. She is convinced she’s a lap dog (my legs disagree), she loves walks, fusses, walks, treats, and walks. She is also convinced any food on my plate is for her and I must share. The 3rd photo is her disappointment in me not sharing!
