🚀 The #StateOfHTML 2025 survey is now open!

➡️ Take it now: survey.devographics.com/en-US/survey...

💡 Spending time to fill these out is an investment into your craft, as browsers are using the results to make prioritization decisions.

You don't have to do it in one sitting (or even one device).

Super cool paper on the creation of a full-stack XAI research tool. Love seeing tools like these coming out. Would be great to get it updated to use more modern tooling like Vite and TypeScript, but LOVE to see growth in this area of research tooling!

Judge rules all NIH grant terminations have been capricious and must be reversed! A Reagan-appointed judge calling out this administration’s blatant racism almost makes you feel a little bit of hope.
🚨 BREAKING: Nearly 4 months the NIH cut its first grants, a judge has ruled that the directives and process that led to cuts are arbitrary and capricious.

"The explanations are bereft of reasoning — virtually in their entirety... unsupported by [facts]."

Each of them are VOID and ILLEGAL, he says.

It's crazy because we honestly just want to make the world a better place. As someone who aspires to pursue a PhD, this won't stifle my motivation, it's fuel for the soul.
One of the best writeups I have read about the personal and national impact of the administration's cuts to science. Heartfelt and heartbreaking from someone who understands all these angles in a deep way.

Please share (ideally with your congressperson).
