Voice of America was gutted over the weekend, with all 1300+ full-time employees placed on leave and locked out of the building. Reports say contractors were fired. The moves were made after President Trump signed an EO to make cuts at the US Agency for Global Media, VOA's parent agency.

The #MBTA confirms a "light tin" ceiling panel showing "signs of corrosion" fell onto the southbound platform around 7:30 am at the Harvard Red Line stop. No reported injuries.

In March 2023, another panel fell, almost hitting riders. The MBTA says last hands-on panel inspection was last summer.

President Trump says reciprocal tariffs will go into effect on 4/2/25. "Whatever they tariff us, we tariff them. Whatever they tax us, we tax them. If they do non-monetary tariffs to keep us out of their market, then we do non-monetary tariffs to keep them out of our market."
