my adult advice today is that a lot of grown ass people need to learn that a conversation involves listening to the other people speaking and ingesting their information before responding. it is not just waiting for your turn to speak. and the sooner you realize youre doing it the better

what i hate most about genAI is how it steals the sense of wonder from the world. there's so many magical beautiful things happening day to day, but nowadays you have to second guess everything including videos and pictures because they may be fake. when, in truth, reality can be just as wondrous.
