I understand limiting how you get your news (no social media for some, it's no tv news for me) but you must stay aware of the world we live in.
Some of my friends don’t watch or read the news because it’s upsetting. I love my friends, but I think they’re wrong. If terrible things are happening, we need to know. Self-care is important, but we need to know — so we can act. If a tiger is about to jump on you, ignorance is not self-care.
