Sometimes I think of how much me and my dad travel and why we haven’t gone on a cruise and then I remember that we both hate sitting still with nothing to do bc if that’s what’s happening we drink beer and play cribbage and we can do that at his condo, we’re in it for the museums and excursions !

I saw a post ab “at these event we put all the nonbinary ppl to work” and it made me think of how at the lake, I just decided to throw myself into that position of being asked to do any, and all tasks I’m capable of. No one expected it of me but they were READY to put me to work !!

I love the boomers in my life because they’re all so progressive and our conversation topics are fairly predictable which my brain loves. So of course, I should’ve expected that in two separate conversations one of the first questions I’d get was “did you hear the pope died?”

The one thing I can always count on ab living in a conservative state and a fairly progressive town is that no one will clock me as nonbinary, but they will absolutely clock me as queer when dressed like my daily self
