Caribou Mountain might be one of the most underrated hikes in Maine. The 360° views and patches of open rock provide great vantage points. This WMNF trail is a perfect blend of challenge and beauty, featuring a steady climb, a waterfall, and a payoff that will leave you speechless.
Love this Vermont waterfall trail 😊

This is the Weathersfield Trail, to Mt Ascutney

This mountain doesn’t get the attention it deserves! It’s located in the eastern White Mountains.

This is Caribou Mountain, in South Oxford, Maine. It’s approx 8 miles roundtrip with 2,100 elevation gain.

NOT recommended if you're claustrophobic or acrophobic 😳 There are two caves here; you gotta contort like a pretzel to get in and out of them. The ladder transition can be sketchy for some as well, especially if you have a fear of heights. No wonder this one is on the Terrifying 25 list!

Morgan Percival
6-mile loop. 1,700 ft elevation gain
Difficulty: Moderate-Hard (there are a few route options, to include bypassing the caves and ladders. Regardless the route, there are scrambles and spots with tricky footing, requiring good traction. Avoid this one in slick conditions).

If you’re doing the Morgan-Percival loop clockwise, it’s hard to spot this spur trail. When you’re at the summit of Mt Percival, looking south toward the beautiful view of Lake Squam and Winnipesaukee, bear slightly right and begin your scramble descent.

Looking for a more gentle 4K footer with a great payoff? You'll want to check out Mt. Abraham in Vermont. Here are the details 👇

📍 Lincoln, Vermont
🪧 Long Trail (Appalachian Trail)
🥾 5.6 miles round-trip
🕓 expect 2-3 hours

Mt. Abraham in Lincoln VT is the perfect gateway into New England 4,000-footers. This fairly easy-going section of the Long Trail rewards you with 360º alpine zone views at the top and features a short yet fun scramble near the summit (the final quarter mile or so).

There’s way more to Vermont than maple syrup 😉🍁 like bagging a 4,000-footer without committing to an all-day adventure! Mt. Abraham in Lincoln, VT is among the most beginner-friendly 4K hikes in New England and an awesome intro if you’re starting your 4,000-footer journey.

Realizing it’s more than the summit we’re really after ✌️ it’s the moments of stillness, void of everyday stimuli, and just being present with nature.

Forest is for rest 💚

One of the most epic and intimate summit views in the White Mountains, New Hampshire. But here’s the thing, it's 9 rugged miles (one way) to get here.

This is West Bond, one of the iconic New Hampshire 4000 Footers (aka NH48/48 4K) and part of the incredible Zealand Bond Traverse.

One of the best hikes in New England! It’s not the elevation gain of 4200’ that makes this hike so difficult.

The majority of the hike is rocky, at points you’ll be 6-8 miles from the nearest water source, you’ll be without cell service the majority of this hike and weather can turn in an instant.

One of the best sweat-to-reward ratio hikes I've ever been on! Easy effort for an incredible waterfall.

Trail Overview:
📍Bash Bish Falls State Park. Mt Washington, MA
🥾2 miles round trip (if parking at the lower lot, on the New York side)
📈 530 ft elev gain
📷 tallest waterfall in Massachusetts!

Bottom line is, it doesn’t matter where we go because nature is beautiful everywhere 💚

And it kindly provides us calm – in all places.

Whether it be our backyard, somewhere close by, or a traveling across the world.

Feeling stagnant lately, like you're on autopilot? Here's how to break out of it.

There are many benefits to establishing and following a routine – but the flip side is it can make things feel tedious sometimes.

Steal my blueprint for staying on course. It’s 🚫 about finding the quickest way. Create your own path and take advantage of your strengths. And when you encounter roadblocks (bc they’re inevitable 😮‍💨) have a plan to tackle it and stay on course 👍 do this to set yourself up for success.

🌲 Ever feel like life’s moving too fast? You’re not alone. In today’s solo hike through a peaceful New England Forest, I confronted my own rush-and-chaos cycle with some self-dialogue.

Why does nature make clarity feel so simple? 🌿 Less noise, more presence for starters ☺️

Does comparison make you feel like you’re not enough? Watch this for some relief. Nature shows us that there is more than one way to be successful, and that being our authentic selves is the purest form of beauty out there 💚
