Today, the Netherlands transferred four key objects from the Dubois Collection to Indonesia, including fossils attributed to Homo erectus.

This transfer marks is a first step; the complete Dubois Collection of over 28,000 fossils will follow in 2026. ⬇️

The Netherlands will act as host country for the Claims Commission for Ukraine. This is the next step in our international efforts for a compensation mechanism for people like Olha. Claims will be reviewed, assessed and decided upon - key for facilitating future compensation. 1/2
