I'm an artist who mostly draws cute girls of various shapes. Some human, some alien, some fairy, some furry. I sometimes draw various magical shenanigans with them. They often end up different shapes.

This came up again this week. Was asked why I draw what I draw if it's not for the attraction side of it.
I kinda brushed them off with an "it's complicated" 💀 It's not really though. I struggle with stuff. I draw my struggles. Go figure.

I struggle with the dichotomy of being largely ace but drawing content that, by and large, gathers a fanbase of allosexuals.
I really REALLY appreciate how much people enjoy my work, but it seems to hurt people's feelings when they find out I don't draw art for the same reasons they enjoy it.

Unpopular one: Talent is real. It's a brain thing. Some people are genetically set up to be excellent runners, some people are genetically set up to be incredible artists.
But practice is king. Any skill can be cultivated, talent is just a speed modifier. If you want to learn, you can. Push at it.
