I am here for Everton, New York Giants and some intelligent conversation on the state of the world to offset the sporting gloom

I have ZERO interest in lame grifting
It likely happens more than we realise at more clubs but the basic failure of humanity here stings. As an added concern, McNeil’s agency USG boast of their close relationship with Palace. When Palace decided to pull out late did the agent prioritise talking to the club/news managing over his client?

Easily influenced and corrupt go hand in hand
February 3, 2026 at 10:33 AM
Yep, they shafted McNeil
February 3, 2026 at 10:08 AM
Absolutely it could be. McNeil has to start with his agent though and go from there.

The claim at the Palace end is that they did tell the agent in advance. If that is true why did the agent not tell their player promptly? 🤷🏻‍♂️ Dwight might need a new agency (USM currently).

Up to us as Evertonians now to rally around Dwight McNeil and make sure he feels welcome and that he still belongs. Put aside whatever our individual views are on him as a player and simply be the decent people I believe most of us are. Palace showed no class and no respect. We will.

So undeserved but bravo Beto!!

The only thing that could excuse this set up from Moyes was a win

A defeat will be entirely on his excessive caution

When everyone is calling him shit just imagine if we actually created more chances for him.

Everton going to have a real problem shifting tickets next season without major squad improvements

Same old same old at home from Everton so far. Not good enough.

If a Democratic president had done something like this, Fox and the GOP would have turned Adriana Camberos into a household name à la Willie Horton or, yes, Hunter Biden.

Are you too unpopular to even be a Conservative MP any longer?

Do voters despise you?

Feeling scared, hopeless and depressed?

Don’t panic

Dial 0300 REFORM1 and ask for Nigel

Help is just a phone call away

We will provide you with a new identity

Voters will love you again

I have to say that Robert Jenrick being unable to even defect properly is very on brand

VAR mistakes. Oh I am surprised. Not.

I think TFG will look to upgrade providing Moyes can get us into top 12

The job is arguably less attractive to others the worse Moyes does for the rest of the season, which is a perverse performance disincentive

Barry? Beto?

Beto? Barry?

Trying to figure out who from Barry or Beto is better up front for Everton is like trying to decide between two broken arms and two broken legs

Everton out of FA Cup after all 3 penalties they took in a shootout v Sunderland were saved easily by the Sunderland keeper, with the 2 worst taken by our 2 strikers 🤢😱

Stalin is in The Kremlin
Neville Chamberlain is in Downing Street
Not ideal

Good that both strikers scored. The only positive.

Good for Beto to get a goal. Straw-clutching here 😉
