A #painting from a while back. Circa 2018-2019 maybe? This one's called Salt Circle and it was painted with a literal ring of sea salt scattered into the wet paint to get those crunchy watercolor textures. In #folklore salt is protective against otherworldly spirits. #artist #watercolor #witchcraft

Oh hi! I am new here. I use a combo of illustration, lyrical writing, and gothic folk music to explore running themes of symbolism, animism, folklore, witchery, and folk esoterica. In visual art, I use traditional watercolor, brushed ink, and digital media to paint in the style of stained glass.
