Our exclusive report:

The giant Amazon region has internal weather systems: its forests circulate moisture from the #atlanticocean creating what are known as "flying rivers" in the sky.

#Monsoon "stretching to traditional Autumn & reinforced by non-traditional #westerlydisturbances"

What do they mean for climbers & trekkers in both #Nepal & #Tibet side of #Everest region?

Experts believe the Himalayas are probably the worst affected mountain range in the world given their location in a populous &polluted region. This could mean the scintillating view of the Himalayas could now largely be limited to photographs, paintings and postcards.
@navinsinghkhadka.bsky.social
Why the mighty Himalayas are getting harder and harder to see
Severe air pollution is obscuring visibility of the highest mountain peaks on Earth, hitting tourism hard.

Having suspended the #IndusWaterTreaty, can #India now cut off the flow of #Indus and its two tributaries and deprive #Pakistan of its lifeline?

Or, will there be "water-bombs"?

Where does #China figure in all this?

With the world heating up, why are more SUVs being sold?
Despite dire predictions of climate breakdown, more Sports Utility Vehicles are being spotted on, and off, the roads.
