Took the younger kiddo out to lunch today and then hit up the MOST with the Girl Scouts before we send them back to school tomorrow. Among other general goofiness, we all took turns hatching

Just catching up on basho day 7 and thanks to Asanoyama, most of my boys are back in the yusho hunt!
Although I definitely need Hoshoryu to protect his head a bit more 😬 I'm always glad for the win, especially when he shouldn't have had to do it twice - but DAMN that looked like a hard hit.

I'm kinda mad about the torinaoshi, I feel like if it were a certain other yokozuna, it would have been gunbai-dōri.
I just hope our boy didn't hit his head *too* hard! Last thing he needs is a concussion too.

I'm thinking stickers and/or a tote bag rather than a litho edition. But I also transferred the drawing to some watercolor paper, so there will definitely be a painted illustration as well.

Ok, Nightmare at 20,000 Feet. Shatner is playing his guy recovering from a breakdown a LOT like how he would play Kirk a few years later.

Not too shabby a year. I feel like I hit a creative slump in the summer/fall, but I just filled it with bookbinding 😂 And I have quite a few new ideas percolating right now, so next year is looking to start off as a banger. ❤️❤️❤️

So I reconciled being a(n upstate) NYer with the fact that all my favorite players are on Seattle now by deciding when they play each other, I'm rooting for bonus hockey.
And it's been looking good for me until O'Brien scored a goal while I was typing this lol. But I can't be mad at a hat trick
