久々に「悪童日記」を読み返したいし、カズオ・イシグロも早川から出ているもので知った。
早川書房の翻訳本のラインナップは本当に素晴らしい。最近はノンフィクションとかもいいのがあるけれど。

1年ちょっとぶりに金沢に行ったら、ついに北鉄が電車・バスともクレジットカードのタッチ決済に対応していた。
現金もICaもワンデーパスも持っておらず日本語もできない外国人観光客の「支払い方法わかりませーーーーん」の扱いにバスの運転手さんが難儀しているのを見ながら「諦めて取りっぱぐれるケースありそうだから早く電子決済に対応すればいいのに」とずっと思ってたんだけど、ようやく対応したようで良かった。さすがの保守王国、頑なにSuicaとPASMO連携をしていなかったけれど、結果タッチ決済にして一気に挽回かもねー。

大阪万博は19:00の噴水ショーに人が向かっている間にお目当ての予約なしパビリオンを狙うのがいいかも。

The reality here is very simple: Trump thinks there is no limit on his power, that he can spend money how he likes, jail who he likes, rule by fiat, criminalize criticism of himself. He is breaking the law and ignoring the Constitution. And we can either acknowledge that or keep pretending he isn’t.
