Honestly, though NativeBio is internationally known, we've had trouble getting the message out on the Northern Plains. Bad Actors know this & this makes them ripe for data exploitation (see Sue T Rex vs CRST story). This young Oglala scholar says it all the correct way. Read, listen, investigate!

1/2 Patents for DNA is a "Lawyer Trick" by defining segments of nature as "compositions of matter". Now with technology going so fast and in so many places, it's likely that only sequences that are very rare and at low frequency with deep penetrance will be patentable..
