It was -11°C / 12°F and the roads were barely a suggestion under the snow, but I went out into the woods for a hike anyway to visit my friends. It reminded me of snow days as a kid when the snowfall makes everything quiet and close. For a while, I was at peace.

New album day is always a good day. I love discovering new music, and though I’m probably late to the vinyl trend, it’s been such a comfort. Something about having to put the record onto the player makes me cherish each song more than if I could just hit “random” and skip 100 songs in a row.

Most modern space films are either “crew finds gruesomely lethal aliens” or “psychological mindf**k where it’s all in their heads”. So few are actually about exploring space, and that’s what I long for. Interstellar is the beloved exception to the rule, but I wish there were more.
