it was a delight to see Sally Potter introduce her 1970 short Play, as part of @opencitydocs.bsky.social’s ongoing experimental film programme for children, ‘Listen with your eyes’. the kids asked some very sweet questions, which included asking Potter if she got her film camera from Santa!

Had a mildly terrifying but incredibly rewarding experience introducing a sold out screening of Girlfriends at the BFI!! Thank you to Aga and Kim for having me, to @nathasha.bsky.social for helping me rehearse, and especially to those in the audience who laughed at my silly little jokes 💘
