I wrote a book on The X-Files, and this is the best take on the show.
Some people disagree but I think its rad as hell for AD Skinner to let his direct reports pull guns on him all the time. You gotta just let workers blow off steam sometimes and if that means they point a handgun at you a bunch then that's just the way it has to be.
