Happy to be here.
The biggest joke I tell myself is “I don’t need to set a timer. I’ll remember when I put this in the oven.”

Every single time.

I’m not saying that we’re getting the Sugar Bowl ending like this because we have kind of a lot of Committee members in the same place rn but I’m also not NOT saying that

like, safety that adds a second back and you have to drag the stage back off the field is something we couldn’t even make up

I got curious an looked it up - you can take a ferry from Palermo Italy to Tunis Tunisia. It costs about $80 US, runs a few times a week, and takes - little over 11 hours.

Cool.

It's weird when AI uses the same language that you use. I'm studying an algorithm problem and said "I want to understand it in my bones". Hours later, I explain the full workflow back to the LLM and it responds `You've got it in your bones now! 🎯`

Get it out of my bones.

TIL JavaScript's Array.sort() treats the values of the array by default as strings instead of checking the datatype, and therefore when I run [-1,0,1,2,-1,-4].sort(), I get [ -1, -1, -4, 0, 1, 2 ] instead of [ -4, -1, -1, 0, 1, 2 ].

The wild and humbling thing about studying Leetcode problems is my initial solution is often wrong. It will pass my test cases, at least, but then fail an edge case so hard that the fix is an entirely different algorithm.
