Perfect example of why I buy from Amazon less and less: paid extra to get the item here sooner and its arriving late. Do I get my money back? Of course not? Do the gifts I'm shipping to family arrive late? Sure do.

Reminder: Small Business Saturday shouldnt be just one day, it should be year-round. Today just celebrates it. Its not easy or cheap but everyone should do their best to support their local community business and avoid large corporations who have only their shareholders and c-suite bonuses in mind.

An important fact: ICE agents are not paid during the shutdown. I dont see any harm in letting this continue for a long time. Maybe they can stop suckling at the teet of overnment payroll and save our hard earned tax dollars.

Handy tip: If you're making pesto and realize you dont have any parmesan, in a pinch you can just use cheddar.
