Not the first time I've done this:

Day 1: Create offer
Day 2: Collect $ from customers

In SaaS, I built the product in a weekend (before AI even).

In service, it's even easier to do validation.

80% of all sales occur between the 5th and 12th point of contact between the business and the prospect.

Yes, increase prices. Sure.

But honestly, just contact your prospects more. 80%!! That's the highest leverage action you can do and you can put it on autopilot!

🔥 Hot tip:

Discounting your SaaS doesn't actually affect a prospect's buying decisions unless it's for 40% or more.

At that point, you're probably not even profitable. Or, you're making it WAY harder to be profitable than it needs to be.

Just stop it.

How can you add value if you don't understand your customers?

How can you understand your customers if you don't talk to them?

How can you get what you want from talking to them if you don't know how?

There's ways, you know. It's not a secret.

Well, at least when Cloudflare goes down we can have fun testing systems to see what errors pop up.

Now I know which LLM model a service uses behind the scenes.

You don’t need to be the best in the world.

You already are the best in somebody’s world.

To them, what you say and do matters.

Not everyone is watching.

But they’re watching.

And that’s enough.

Just got a lead from finishmyvibe.app ... honestly totally forgot about this project until now.

That's what happens when you vibe code a vibe code service. 😜

Are there any WhatsApp CRMs that handle leads too?

Don’t make me turn this car around and build one.

I need some weird inspiration. Hit me with it.

I mean not like just run of the mill anti-everything weird. But actually unique, somehow ignored all of society to create but is brilliant at the same time weird.

And ideally a series.

Like YT channel formats, art, books, photos, websites, games, ???

Why if, and hear me out, we actually were social with less media….

The problem with "develop your spiky POV" advice is that It assumes you don't already have one.

You do.

You're just too scared to say it out loud.

The issue isn't finding spiky takes—it's giving yourself permission to sound like yourself instead of the sanitized version everyone expects.

Apparently URL-to-Spicy-Take is my version of a to-do list when building new "hello world" apps.

If nothing else, the next election (if there is one) should bring out massive amounts of votes because we finally realize electing a president can actually have real in-my-back-yard consequences apparently.

Anyone have a political cartoon of a blowup animal to share?

Gotta be out there somewhere.
October 18, 2025 at 3:51 PM
Might just have to be a blow up frog for Halloween.

What does that have to do with Halloween?

I live in N Idaho.

Probably gonna scare some ICE children.

The ability to remove your post when a hostile account quote-tweets you is a great feature of Bluesky.

To do it, go to their quote-tweet of you, click on the three dots in the bottom right, then click “detach quote.”

It shows up as “removed by author.”

For those who want to block everyone who follows a certain account or likes or reposts a certain post, here's a powerful tool: Blockenheimer (newly reborn).

Use it thoughtfully, because as with blocklists, it's all too easy to accidentally block friends! block.alxtratrstrl.xyz/index.html
