Good work by Sam Seder and crew. I don’t believe any entertainer, Democratic or Republican, has done more than Bill Maher has to advance antiprogressive bigotry. Can you name an entertainer who’s been more helpful to Trump and the extreme right?

Centrists will always pull you to the middle between the extreme right and the moderates. They will never take you to the center. They will always pull further right because they have no spine. This time it’s so far to the right, we’re about to fall off this flat earth of ours.

Senator Schiff exposed Patel’s unsuitability for the job of FBI director, but if he demolished Patel, then it didn’t show. Patel feigned ignorance of facts he knew well the whole hearing. Patel may have appeared to have stood strong, but his intentional obliviousness made him look pretty stupid.

I wouldn’t have believed it was a harmless wave of affection even if Musk hadn't backed the extreme right in Germany weeks ago. Given that he did it twice, it's a a stretch to say it wasn’t a Nazi tribute. Musk would have to prove he supports constitutional democracy for me to respect him again.

Corporate media repeating the negative has not worked. The redundancy has gotten ridiculous. The crew should highlight people getting involved. Reading newspapers, going to council meetings, joining local political groups. Watching shaming on display since 2016 has taken us nowhere.
