**NEW** paper from my fabulously talented colleague @bethwoollacott.bsky.social who’s work aims to bring research and practice in the early years closer together
"Effective research communication in education: Early years practitioners' views of research summaries"

In my newest paper, I discuss the importance of understanding how early years practitioners engage with research & what I learnt from speaking to them.💡

Ah January, still here are you? Fab!
Word of the day is ‘matutolypea’: extreme grumpiness in the morning.

From the Latin ‘Matuta’, Roman goddess of the dawn, and the Greek ‘lype’, ‘grief’. Put them together and you get ‘morning grief’.

Surprising marmite based breakfast inspo! Having said that, I’ll likely stick with butter 😁
Got chatting yesterday to a person who dislikes butter. The conversation naturally moved to "what do you put on toast?" And the answer was "olive oil and marmite"

I'm too scared to try it on the basis of N=1. Any other case studies of this unlikely combo out there? I'm a marmite + butter chap.
