FEWER COPS & THE CRIME RATE DROPS. Why? Because there is no correlation between policing & crime. People hurt each other & steal things because the state divests from the public goods that people need to survive. Stop spending on cops that don't impact safety & fully fund what people need to thrive.
According to the latest Metro data, crime is down across the board in Nashville for 2025. These falling rates follow national trends, and come even as Metro Nashville Police Department was still 100 officers short of full staffing earlier this year.
