I physically handed them letters from Brighton families, they glanced at them and handed them back. I had to remind them to take them when leaving, they most likely were never read. They were not interested in the slightest. 🤬

Now is the time to write to Sussex ICB challenging their current attempts to enforce referral of existing patients, receiving legally prescribed puberty blockers or hormones, to the newly formed CYPGS service which cannot prescribe or support gender affirming medical care.

If you’re concerned about the future models of healthcare provision for transgender people within the NHS you need to write to Sussex ICB challenging their current attempts to refer existing patients to an alternative service (CYPGS) which cannot prescribe or support gender affirming medical care.
