Sixty-five years ago today, four first-graders desegregated New Orleans's public schools: Ruby Bridges at William Frantz Elementary School, and Leona Tate, Tessie Provost, and Gail Etienne at McDonogh 19 Elementary School. They faced violent mobs and threats to their lives. They were 6 years old. 🗃

This is odd, it looks like the DOJ skipped suing Texas entirely. The Justice Department is now suing California over the new congressional district boundaries that voters approved just last week, Attorney General Pam Bondi announced Thursday in a post on X. Who are they going to sue, the voters?

Pedophilia is absolutely wrong and harmful. Children deserve protection, safety, and dignity — not exploitation. Trying to minimize or excuse it is dangerous and disgusting. There is no debate here: it causes lifelong trauma, and anyone defending it is complicit in harm.
